Synthesis to Vial. What Happens in Between.

Every batch follows the same disciplined process — from synthesis through independent third-party verification — before it ships. Here it is, start to finish.

The Six-Step Process

From Resin to Vial, in Order

Six sequential operations. None of them get skipped. The discipline is what makes the difference between a research-grade vial and a hopeful one.

01

Domestic Synthesis

Solid-phase peptide synthesis at a United States laboratory. We do not source finished material from overseas. The chemistry happens here, with American chemists, on American equipment.

02

Cleavage and Purification

Crude peptide is cleaved from resin and purified through chromatographic separation. This is where the difference between "acceptable" and "research-grade" gets made or lost. We do not cut corners.

03

Lyophilization

Purified peptide is freeze-dried into a stable lyophilized powder. This is the form that maintains stability the longest and is the industry standard for research peptide distribution.

04

Independent Verification

Samples from each batch go to an independent third-party analytical lab. HPLC quantifies purity. Mass spectrometry confirms identity. If the batch does not pass, it does not move forward.

05

Vialing and Labeling

Approved material is vialed into clear borosilicate glass with navy crimp caps. Each vial receives a batch-traceable label tying it back to its synthesis run and analytical certificate.

06

Discreet Domestic Shipping

Orders ship in unmarked, climate-aware packaging within the United States. Tracking and signature confirmation are standard on every order. No international shipping.

"

Synthesis without independent testing is a claim. Synthesis with documented HPLC and mass-spec verification is a product. We do the second one.

How We Verify Every Batch

Purity and identity are not claims at ChainNovaLabs — they are documented. Every product release goes through a four-step verification protocol before it leaves the facility.

HPLC Purity

High-performance liquid chromatography quantifies actual peptide content. Target is ≥99% purity. Anything under specification does not ship.

Mass Spectrometry

Molecular weight and sequence are confirmed by mass spec on every batch. Identity is verified, not assumed.

Third-Party COA

Certificates of analysis are issued by independent analytical laboratories. We do not grade our own work.

Batch Traceability

Every vial label ties to a specific synthesis batch and analytical run. Full documentation available on request.

Methodology

Why The Numbers Mean Something

Why HPLC Matters

Peptide content is the only number that matters in research. A vial labeled "10mg" should contain 10mg of the named compound, not 10mg of crude synthesis output with 30 percent related impurities. HPLC tells us how much of what is in the vial is actually the target compound.

Why Mass Spec Matters

Purity confirms quantity. Mass spec confirms identity. Both are required. A 99 percent pure batch of the wrong compound is still useless for research. We confirm molecular weight and sequence on every batch.

Where the COAs Come From

Our analytical work is performed by independent third-party laboratories, not by us. We provide the synthesis. An outside lab provides the verification. That separation is what makes the documentation credible.

Requesting a COA

If you have received a vial and need its specific batch certificate of analysis, contact us with the lot number on the label. We retain analytical records for every batch we have ever released.
